There are three words that succinctly sum up Candace and Jason's engagement shoot at Gravelly Point Park:
Cold. Windy. Awesome.
These two love-birds were so great to work with, and I'm really happy to get to share some of the photos from their shoot with you:
Camera: Nikon D3S

Light: PCB Einstein w/Medium Octabox
Usually photo shoots are done in the late afternoon, just before sunset. That gets turned upside-down when you want photos on the National Mall on a weekend without a million tourists in your photos.
I think I'm almost caught up on sleep after waking up WAY before the sun to photograph Megan and Mike's engagement session. It was super-fun exploring the Mall and Georgetown with them, and I'm super-excited to photograph their wedding in May 2014!
