Througout 2011, I tasked myself as a photographer and small business-owner with trying new things. Every time I picked up my camera, I fine-tuned my artistic identity and skill-set... from high-contrast lighting to telephoto portraits to ultra-wide-angle photography to experimenting with sun-overpowering flash. My experiences in 2011 have challenged me to view my business from a new perspective, so I'm excited to announce these changes to Scott Henderson Photography:
- I've simplified my wedding and portrait photography packages:
- All wedding packages are now priced à la carte. This means that you don't have to fit your album/book/canvas/print selections into a pre-determined package. Any wedding package still includes the engagement portrait session and a second photographer on your wedding day.
- I've added a new wedding package - 8 hours of coverage (vs. the traditional all-day coverage offering). Please visit the "Investment" page for more information.
- Due to popular demand, my portrait photography packages have been updated to include high-resolution digital files of the final images from your session. All packages also include a minimum $100 credit for professional photofinishing. - My website is COMPLETELY overhauled. Cleaner design, updated portfolio galleries, new blog posts, and a brand-new "FAQ" page. Stay tuned for additional functionality including online booking and payments, as well as print product promotions throughout the year (like the reKindle photosessions+ introduced in the post below).
In the end, the old adage holds true: "The more things change, the more they stay the same." You can expect the same ooh-and-ahh-worthy photographs, relaxing experience, and heirloom-quality photofinishing offerings that Scott Henderson Photography has become known for.
